What initially started as with building custom cargo trailers has now become all things campers! We can upgrade your existing camper: new solar electrical systems, upgrade your existing solar, adding heaters, A/C units, remodel/upgrade interiors, and more. We have worked on truck slide-ins, campervans, cargo trailers, pop-up A-liners, and RVs.

If you want a new camping rig, our speciality is custom off grid cargo trailers. We can build these as small (towable by a Subaru!) or as big as you like. We offer a unique fully automated queen size elevator bed that allows you to raise the bed to the ceiling of the trailer. TVR trailers are fully customizable with a robust electrical system and high quality commercial grade solar panels. We can design for your mountain bikes, motorcyles/quads, toddlers, or furry pets.

The Experiment aka The OG
The little trailer that started it all - first elevator bed prototype, beefy solar/electrical system, limited budget and many reclaimed materials. A labor of love!
Electric Blue Avenue
Custom 6 x 12 ft cargo trailer: Big solar system, elevator bed, flip-up standing desk, electric cooler, lots of storage for bikes and climbing gear. This trailer now lives in Washington as an adventure trailer AND part-time housing for travel nursing.
The Green Dream Machine
The dream trailer! Fully off-grid, no fossil fuels. Amazing custom slat ceiling with inlaid lighting, big windows, back deck, elevator bed, convection stovetop, electric cooler, plenty of storage, and custom re-claimed wooden countertop.
Groovy Baja Truck Camper
A full gut and remodel! Mold abatement, new canvas, new electrical, new solar, new layout, new counters - new everything! This truck camper now splits it's time between snowy Lander and beachy Baja. It made us want to get a truck camper!
The Gnome Home Revival
What do you do when your A-Liner needs some TLC? Bring it to TVR! The Gnome Home got modernized to 2025. New solar system, new electrical, new interior (new floor!!), new roof struts, and a functional kitchen/dinette. Ready to hit the road again for fishing, climbing and camping adventures.
Louie's Lounge
Our favorite things: renewable energy and puppies. This full time Sprinter van came to us with needs for an off-grid A/C to keep the K9 resident cool. We installed a bottom mount A/C mini split, 560 Amp hours of lithium batteries, new solar array, and alternator charging. Now Louie keeps cool in his lounge even when his human is away with remote thermostat monitoring.

About Us
TVR Trailerworx's first project was our own cargo trailer conversion!
After having spent many years sleeping in the back of Subarus and cooking meals out in the cold and rain, we craved something waterproof with more room for us and gear. Two humans and two dogs in a Subaru just wasn't cutting it! Having used cargo trailers on NOLS climbing courses, we were drawn to their affordability, towability, and potential. The first TVR Trailer was born!​
We proceeded to take Version 1.0 to weekend mountain biking adventures, multi-week cross country climbing trips, music festivals, dirt biking explorations.... all while being able to bring unlimited outdoor gear, an espresso machine, and a true mattress. And our dogs love sleeping under the bed. We realized we had tapped into something for the everyday adventurer.

In 2023, Russell made TVR Trailerworx his full time-job. His background in solar off-grid electrical design/install, vehicle repair and carpentry blend perfectly to enable him to design/build or problem solve any trailer/RV/campervan you can dream of.
